31 days till me due date!

Well yesterday was pretty eventful. I woke up at 3am to use the potty and found blood all over the place! So I got in the car and rushed to the hospital so scared. Baby ended up being fine, but I was there for the next 4 and a half hours being monitored because of my really close together and regular contractions.
they sent me home (lame) and told me to drink lots of water and that they will slow down. I'm a little bummed that they wouldn't just admit me and hook me up with some pitosin, but I'm really just glad that baby Thor is alright.
As soon as they hooked up the fetal heart rate monitor and I could hear him, I felt so relieved. omg I can't even explain how scared Logan and I were.
Not to mention even if I did deliver yesterday, I would have been frantic trying to score a car seat to bring him home. and that wouldn't be much fun at all I'm sure.
so after a scare like that I've really gotta start buying some necessities pronto.

On the up side of things, i've got exactly 31 days until my due date, and I got a nice collection of  cloth diapers in the mail today. Logan is pretty sure that we won't make it  till aug. 19. My contractions aren't hurting, but they're still going, and they're not very comfortable.
I WILL keep my status posted.

30 weeks and feelin some loooveee

30 WEEKS!!!!!!
this week is my 30th week. I'm really starting to feel pregnant! Even with all of the "oooh I can't breathe. (deep breath)" and the "uurg frugh uuh hu eeh" that comes with every little bedtime adjustment as i toss and turn, and lets DeFiNiTeLY not forget about the mood swings, that have been a little out of control this week (sorry Logan, and thank you for not freaking out on me) I have to admit, it feels good to FINALLY "Look Pregnant."

Too many times I've caught people glancing, glancing again, and in most cases even a THIRD TIME, without a doubt asking themselves "is this chick pregnant, or just a weird kind of chubby?" hahaha

so I've got roughly about 10 weeks left. I thought for sure time was gonna slow down drastically, but of course since I'm so far from ready it seems like I couldn't buy enough time even if it had a price tag on it.

Logan had ordered some pots in the mail. He thinks he's going to be a farmer... not a bad idea if he's serious... but any whoo, he had been anxiously waiting for them to come in when we got yet a 3rd package for baby Thor. It was from none other than Nicole and Jason.

I swear man, Logan has such a terrific family. I don't know how people have so many complaints about their in laws all the time... I always hear friends talk about how obnoxious their spouse's family is, and I don't even try and compare my stories to theirs. I FREAKIN LOVE MY IN LAWS! every last one of them...

Don't think it's just a good hormone day either hahahaha. i've had my ups and downs today. more than usual really. ugh it's been a roller coaster, and I'm totally exhausted. i hate this not having control over them. I LITERALLY, no joke, had to send myself to my room for a time out some time around the early evening, and to tell you the truth, I'm not so sure why. But thankfully Logan knows the routine...
-I pout and start heading down the hall
-he gives a good 5-10 minutes for me to "let it out"
- he comes to reassure me "no one is out to get you, we love you"
-ady's cue to enter with " i love you mom, i want you here"

yeah, the support group in my house rocks... okay... so make fun if you want. it's okay i'm pregnant, i get it! it's a little funny

Thank You Brian & Chrissy Lindgren

Wednesdays... lets face it... they're boring. I can never decide if the week is going by fast, or slow at this point lol. And a fast week is definitely in my favor.
there are about 11 weeks left in this journey of growing. I can't say i'm not getting anxious, especially with  the cute things that we've gotten from the Muligans and this adorable Bath tub I know Baby will enjoy that we received today from Logan's cousins Brian and Chrissy.
hahaha I remember when Adyson was just a baby and when she was teething she would wake up in the middle of the night and chew on the wood all along the front of her crib. By the time she was big enough that i could sell the crib, it was so chewed up, that it looked like a combination of rats and termites had gotten a hold of it. :D I'm more than sure that these teething rings are gonna be more than helpful for the little one. Thank you two so much. we really appreciate it

Truth be told, I feel a little weird having a "Virtual Baby Shower." it's a super cool idea. Really creative and thoughtful. I'm just all about having all my family & friends surrounding me for a day full of baby games and everyone laughing at how much toilet paper it really took to surround my entire belly lol.
I really enjoy keeping track of the adventure of being pregnant, sharing my silly stories about how big sister Ady is taking things, and of course my awesome hormonal stories :)
But it really does mean so much to me that you guys care & love us enough to send a gift our way for Baby Haworth even though you don't get to see the look on my face when I open it up.
I really wish I could physically share these moments with each one of you.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU CHRISSY & BRIAN! I LOVE YOU GUYS SO VERY MUCH

WEEK 28. Came Home to a Little Surprise :)

28 WEEKS! only 12 more to go....
Logan seems to think that this picture was funny. He's lucky I'm lovin life right now. haha I must have told Logan and Adyson "I Love You Family!" about 35 times today.
I decided to go to the beach with the Fam. thinking everyone would be asking themselves, "Why is that chick not wearing a one piece?!" But I couldnt seem to dodge the compliments "Ma'am... you are so adorable.... Ma'am you look really cute!" ... well my makeup is stuck in California, but i won't be needing any artificial blush at this rate :D THANK YOU NORTH CAROLINIANS!

To Top It All Off.....
We get home from a great day of some serious sun & belly exposure, and there on my door step is a package from The Land Of Nod. So Logan and I open it up and theres a card that reads "Congratulations Katrina & Logan!
we are so happy for you...
-THE MULLIGANS"
and heres what was inside <3

THANK YOU SO MUCH MULLIGAN FAMILY. WE LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! and of course we adore the gift set <3 <3 <3
